Job summary

CHOPT Creative Salad Co. in Ohio seeks an Assistant Manager to support the restaurant and General Manager, supervising staff and maintaining service standards.

You'll lead a team of hourly employees, ensure food safety, and help with scheduling, payroll, inventory and ordering. The position is 40 hours per week with an enticing $1,000 sign-on bonus after 90 days and opportunities for growth through our Management in Training program.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant management or supervisory experience.
• ServSafe certification and any required city/state food safety certifications.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and employees and accurately exchange information.
• Skill in using a computer and/or tablet.
• Manual dexterity to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils; capability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support the restaurant and General Manager in daily operations.
• Prioritize exceptional customer service and hospitality.
• Train and coach hourly staff to support our talent pipeline.
• Assist growth by helping identify and develop trainers.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ensure safe working conditions to reduce risk of injury.

CHOPT Assistant Manager

Hours per week: 40(OT may be scheduled or worked based on business needs)
