Job summary

Market Broiler in Riverside, CA is seeking an Assistant General Manager with 2–4 years of full-service restaurant management experience to lead daily operations, supervise guest services, and ensure compliance with policies and standards.

This exempt role offers a salary between $70,304 and $85,000, plus a 5–10% bonus, on‑the‑job training, paid time off from day 1, meals during shifts, a monthly dining allowance, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Ensures compliance with all restaurant policies, standards and procedures.
• Monitors alcohol beverage service in compliance with local laws.
• Manages to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
• Opens and closes restaurant shifts.
• Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
• Supervises staffing levels to ensure guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met.
• Encourages employees to provide excellent customer service within guidelines.
• Handles guest problems and complaints, seeking assistance from supervisor as necessary.
• Monitors employees to ensure performance expectations are met.
• Provides feedback to employees based on observation of service behaviors.
• Assists in supervising daily shift operations.
