Job summary

McDonald's in the United States is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to work alongside the General Manager, leading the restaurant, developing people, and delivering an outstanding guest experience.

AGMs ensure profitable operation while upholding McDonald’s standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Training opportunities exist to earn qualifications to become a full General Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant management or a related field.
• Commitment to excellence and workplace safety.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Effective communication to anticipate customer needs.
• Proven ability to make decisions and provide solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous quick-service or fast casual management experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Leadership: Support all aspects of restaurant operations, including food production, guest service, and team management.
• People Management: Support human resource processes, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, staffing, and training.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to food safety measures and maintain high standards for guest, employee safety and restaurant security.
• Operational Excellence: Support restaurant operations and ensure the restaurant meets and exceeds standards of excellence.
