Live! Casino & Hotel in Hanover, Maryland is seeking a Restaurant Assistant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, drive guest satisfaction, and mentor a team of managers and hourly staff.

You will develop the business plan and budget, enforce policies, ensure safety and compliance, manage inventory and labor costs, and collaborate with the Director of Food & Beverage to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent; college preferred.
• Four-year degree preferred; relevant work experience considered.
• 5–7 years in restaurant management and supervision preferred.
• Serv-Safe and RAMP certifications required.
• Full working knowledge of POS and Responsible Gaming program.
• Must obtain and maintain a gaming license and ABC card as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the restaurant budget and business plan.
• Enforce all department and company policies consistently.
• Supervise, train, and develop managers and hourly staff.
• Maintain open communication across all department personnel.
• Ensure quality, consistency, and timeliness of service, including alcohol.
• Control inventory, labor, food, and beverage costs.
• Meet budgeted revenues and maximize profitability.
• Ensure safety compliance with liquor laws and gaming regulations.
• Uphold brand standards and professional conduct.
• Address guest needs and feedback to enhance experiences.
• Adjust staffing to meet budgeted labor and operations.
