Salary guaranteed regardless of hours worked on call.What You’ll DoOur Rest Assured Weekend Nurses work together to manage the needs of all patients in all service areas while on call. This will include coordinating weekend admissions, visits, and providing guidance to other disciplines as appropriate.The Rest Assured Weekend Nurses are based out of Black Hawk County but will respond to all locations as needed.Every 8th weekend off, paid! Due to the equivalent of 6 paid “weeks” off already built into the position, there is no additional vacation time accrual however, sick leave will accrue based on a 1.0 FTE, and full-time benefits will be available.QualificationsRequiredCurrent Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) licenseStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPositive attitude and commitment to teamworkBasic computer proficiency and ability to learn work-related softwareValid Iowa driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurancePreferredBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)Two years of recent nursing experience, preferably working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary teamPrevious hospice, home health, palliative care, or related nursing experiencePhysical RequirementsAbility to move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to travel throughout the service area and work in patient homes, healthcare facilities and office settingsAbility to alternate between sitting, standing, walking and driving throughout the workdayPre-employment/post-offer physical, TB, and drug screen requiredJoin Our TeamEnjoy a nursing career where you can make a meaningful impact every day!
