Job summary

U.S. Facilities, Inc. is seeking dependable Attendants to help keep a Safety Rest Area in Port Wentworth (Savannah), GA clean, safe, and welcoming for travelers.

You will perform cleaning, maintenance, and grounds work inside and outside the facility under the Site Supervisor's direction. The role requires physical work, overtime on weekends/holidays, and reliable transportation. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior maintenance experience preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to and from the Company office.
• Current, valid driver's license and acceptable driving record preferred.
• Ability to comply with the Company Drug and Alcohol Policy.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, urinals, fixtures, mirrors, and countertops.
• Keep paper towel, soap, and other dispensers fully stocked.
• Sweep and mop support rooms, vacuum carpeted areas, and strip and wax floors.
• Clean windows, dust desks and surfaces, and empty trash containers in the office and garage.
• Handle light building maintenance, such as replacing light bulbs and painting where needed.
• Keep picnic areas, pet rest areas, and all other grounds clean and inviting.
• Blow and sweep sidewalks and picnic pavilions.
• Maintain shrub beds, including mulching, shrub trimming, and planting.
• Sweep parking lots and sidewalks and pick up litter.
• Repair cracks and holes, paint parking lines, and maintain signs.
• Keep a list of needed repairs so issues can be addressed quickly.
• Shovel snow and apply ice melt to keep walkways safe for travelers.
• Help promote a culture of safety to reduce or eliminate accidents and injuries.
• Contribute to a positive work environment where teamwork is the foundation of everything we do.
• Lead by example with professionalism and a strong work ethic.
