Job summary

Steampunk is seeking an Integration Developer to design, develop, evaluate, and modify system interfaces and integrations. The role involves testing, test script development, review, and analysis, with expertise in middleware to integrate cloud and on-premise systems, SaaS, SQL databases, and APIs.

You will implement OpenAPI REST APIs on Spring Boot and Camel, and collaborate with stakeholders to document requirements.

Qualifications

Must be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on IT implementation experience.
Minimum 2 years of REST API development – design, creation and support of complex networks.
Experienced with Spring Boot and Camel microservices development.
2–3 years with RDBMS technologies (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server).
Familiarity with OAuth2, OpenID, JWT and API gateways such as Kong, Apigee.
2–3 years MuleSoft experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design REST APIs using OpenAPI on Spring Boot and Camel stack; MuleSoft knowledge is a plus.
Translate integration requirements into functional execution plans.
Develop, test, review, and maintain system interfaces and integrations.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify and document requirements.
Ensure secure multi-level integration networks and best practices.
