Job summary

Bellingham Public Schools is seeking a qualified RtI (Instructional Support) Team Coordinator for the High School, Memorial School, DiPietro Elementary, and Stall Brook Elementary locations. The role focuses on organizing the RtI team, scheduling meetings, collecting reports, recording minutes, and representing the school in the district RtI team.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the school on the district RtI team.
  • Lead weekly after-school RtI support class for referred students.
  • Review student data progress and make 30-day observation recommendations.

TITLE: Response to Intervention (RtI) (Instructional Support) Team Coordinator: High School (1), Memorial School (1), DiPietro Elementary (1), Stall Brook Elementary (1)


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


1. Is responsible for complete organization of the Responseto Intervention (RtI) (Instructional Support) Team for the entire school year


2. Schedules meetingsfor the Response to Intervention (RtI) (Instructional Support) Team


3. Issues and collects teacher reports for the meetings


4. Records a log of meetings held and work performed for the Coordinator and Team Members


5. Manages and conducts the Response to Intervention (RtI) (Instructional Support) Team meetings in the building


6. Represent your school as a member of the district-wide Response to Intervention (RtI) (Instructional Support) Team


Responsibilities include:


Part I


7. Collects current teacher reports using the Teacher Reports/Assessments, and a three-yearacademic, attendance discipline history. Also collects previous evaluations if completed.


8. Chair Response to Intervention(RtI) (Instructional Support) Team meetings


9. Records meeting minutes


10. Completes signed profile forms and intervention recordingforms with team members


11. Sets follow-up meetingdates scheduled in 30 days


12. Participates in one weekly after-school Responseto Intervention (RtI) (Instructional Support) support class for referred students


13. Records student attendance and work summary or 30 days in Responseto Intervention (RtI) (Instructional Support) support class

SALARY: $1500 Stipend
