• Excellent communication and leadership, able to influence at C-level.
• Certifications in programme management (PMP/PgMP/PRINCE2) and SAP delivery are desirable.

Job description

We are seeking an accomplished SAP Program Leader to own and drive large‑scale SAP transformation initiatives for our client’s US and global operations, based in Miami, Florida. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for end‑to‑end delivery of complex SAP S/4HANA and related programmes, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements and enterprise technology roadmaps.

• Provide single‑point accountability for the planning, governance and successful delivery of multi‑workstream SAP programmes (S/4HANA, cloud ERP, integrations, data migration, testing, cutover and hypercare).
• Act as the primary interface between executive sponsors, business process owners, IT leadership and external systems integrators.
• Shape the operating model, governance cadence and delivery approach for SAP transformations across finance, supply chain, manufacturing and shared services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end SAP implementation and transformation programmes, from initial assessment and roadmap definition through design, build, integration testing, deployment and post‑go‑live stabilisation.
• Orchestrate multiple interconnected workstreams (functional, technical, data, integration, change management, training) and manage dependencies across SAP and the broader enterprise application landscape.
• Establish programme governance, integrated master schedules, milestone plans, decision forums and executive reporting; drive disciplined RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies) management.
• Partner with business and technology leaders to prioritise scope, manage expectations and ensure delivery aligns with strategic goals and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate and hold accountable internal teams, vendors and large consulting partners against commitments, milestones, deliverables and quality standards.
• Oversee programme financials, resource planning, budgets and delivery performance; manage scope changes and resource constraints proactively.
• Drive collaboration among business stakeholders, IT, SAP teams, external consultants and executive sponsors to maintain momentum and resolve cross‑functional blockers.
• Lead implementation readiness, cutover planning, go‑live execution and transition to steady‑state operations and continuous improvement.
• Provide clear, executive‑level communication on programme health, accomplishments, risks, decisions and upcoming milestones.

Profile & experience

• 10+ years of overall IT and programme‑management experience, with at least 10+ years leading large, complex SAP programmes (S/4HANA, ECC, cloud ERP, integrations).
• Proven track record delivering multi‑country or multi‑site SAP transformations in manufacturing, distribution, consumer, industrial or related sectors.
• Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA, ECC, integration patterns, data migration, testing strategies and cutover/hypercare best practices.
• Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing programme budgets, vendor contracts and senior stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and leadership skills; able to influence at C‑level and navigate complex organisational dynamics.
• Relevant certifications in programme/project management (e.g., PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2) and SAP delivery methodologies are highly desirable.
• Based in Miami, Florida, with regular onsite presence at the client’s offices and flexibility to travel across US sites as required.
• Hybrid working model, balancing onsite leadership with remote coordination of distributed teams and partners.
