JCFS Chicago is seeking a Respite Worker to provide essential support in our group respite program for children and youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role involves engaging participants in various fun activities and ensuring a welcoming environment.

Schedule will be 12noon – 5:00pm about 2 Sundays each month with the opportunity to add a few more hours if needed.
As a Respite Worker you will provide support in our group respite program to children and youth with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Group Respite is offered two Sunday afternoons per month from12:00pm-4:30pm. Respite workers engage participants in fun activities that may serve various purposes, such as social connection, recreation, a break for caregivers, and community building for families.
