Job summary

Covenant Case Management Services is seeking caring Respite Support Professionals for PRN shifts across our service area. You will choose available shifts that fit your life, with nights free and selective Saturday bookings. You’ll be trained and gain experience while supporting individuals with IDD and their families.

We value reliability, communication, and empathy. You’ll document each shift, participate in ongoing skill-building, and have opportunities to grow within the team.

Qualifications

• Patience, dependability, and genuine respect for the people you support are essential.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus and assistance to obtain it will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide Respite to individuals with IDD, giving families a scheduled break while ensuring safety and engagement.
• Assist with daily routines and personal care, support community outings and activities, and encourage independence and communication.
• Document each shift accurately to maintain clear records for families and supervisors.

Job description

Covenant Case Management Services is building a bench of skilled Respite Support Professionals across our service area. This is PRN — as-needed, no set schedule, no minimum hours. You'll see available shifts and take the ones that fit your life. Nights free but weekdays booked? Perfect. Available two Saturdays a month? We'll take it.

What you'll do

Provide Respite to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities — giving their families a scheduled break while you keep things safe, engaging, and steady. That looks like assisting with daily routines and personal care, supporting community outings and activities, encouraging independence and communication, and documenting each shift accurately.

What you bring

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background check
• Experience supporting individuals with IDD — professional or personal caregiving both count
• Patience, dependability, and genuine respect for the people you support
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus — we'll help you get it if you don't have it

Pay

$15.00 an hour
