Consumer Direct Care Network is seeking a compassionate Youth Respite Provider to care for a young teen with autism in the provider's home. Responsibilities include engaging in hobbies, assisting with medications, and providing emotional support while maintaining strong communication with the family.

Qualificações

• Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Experience working with children with autism or ADHD highly recommended.

Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

Youth Respite Provider

We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and experienced respite provider for a young teen with autism who is playful, creative, and independent-minded. This meaningful role focuses on one-on-one care that emphasizes emotional regulation, safety supervision, and structured support within a consistent, nurturing environment. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and flexible, with a genuine passion for supporting neurodivergent youth. Childcare in the Providers's (your) home.

Schedule

• Fridays to Sundays
• Pickup from client's home (Bloomer, WI) Friday afternoon before 5pm, drop-off Sunday by 5 PM
• Respite Care Provided within Provider's Home

Starting Wage

$207.45/per Day (8 hour or more)

$14.13/Hour (8 hours or less)

About Child

• Loves Pokémon, fishing, anime (One Piece), video games, cooking, and phone/tablet activities
• Enjoys swimming and creative projects
• Laid-back, social, and active
• Sensitive to loud noises or high-volume environments
• May need space and time to cool down if frustrated or “getting itchy” as the child describes
• Medication administration and nighttime hygiene/toileting assistance may be required
