Seven Hills Foundation in Rhode Island is seeking Direct Support Professionals I to provide safe, one-to-one care for children with special health care needs. You will follow the safety and service plan, support social activities at home or in the community, and assist with self-care tasks as needed.

This part-time position offers on-call hours, punctuality expectations, and collaboration with families and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED/HiSet required.
• Experience in direct care preferred.
• Able to assist with mobility and daily activities.

Responsabilités

• Provide safe one-to-one care per the plan for children with special health care needs.
• Provide socialization opportunities within home and/or outside of home.
• Provide relief from caregiving to families as needed.
• Perform necessary self-care tasks for the individual.
• Provide transportation to activities as approved by the parent/caregiver.
• Complete required documentation (timesheets, incident reports) promptly.
• Be on-call as hours require and per parent request.
• Arrive punctually and participate in required trainings/meetings.
