Job summary

ARISE CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICE INC is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide respite services in Auburn, NY for two school‑age boys. The role includes assisting with transportation, meals, and personal care, while delivering patient and reliable support to give the family a well‑deserved respite.

Schedule varies with a pay rate of $18.50–$20.50 per hour based on 2:1 or 1:1 ratios. Five hours of initial online training is required at $17/hour.

Qualifications

Valid NY State driver’s license.
Reliable transportation and ability to arrive at the job site on time.
Effective communication and organizational skills.
Flexibility with assignments and schedule.
Experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred.
Ability to download and use multiple apps for community use, abiding by ARISE/EFR’S technology policy.

Responsibilities

Assist with transportation.
