Zusammenfassung

Riverside Community Care is seeking a Respite Counselor for weekend shifts in an acute care residence. The role provides guidance, education, supervision and direct supports to help individuals maintain health and safety, while promoting skills for independent living within the community.

Two weekend scheduling options are available: Saturday-Sunday from 7am–3pm, or 3pm–11pm, with pay differentials for education level.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in mental health, crisis intervention, or respite services is a plus.
• Ability to work as part of a team and support adults in community-based settings.

• Assist with crisis or situational stabilization and care coordination as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Respite Counselor - Weekends

In this exciting role, the Respite Counselor will work as part of a team in this acute care residence.

The Respite Counselor will provide guidance, education, supervision, and direct supports to allow consumers to maintain their physical and emotional health, live safely in the community and develop the skills necessary to return to independent living. Interactions between staff and consumers will be guided by an appreciation for those being served as unique individuals and adults, with the expectation and goal of crisis or situational stabilization.

The Respite programs provide both short and long-term care for persons experiencing mental health, substance use disorder, and co-occurring disorders who might otherwise require treatment in an inpatient setting and would benefit from structured stabilization, support, care coordination, and treatment planning.

Schedule

Part Time, 16 hours with 2 scheduling options available!

Schedule Option 1:

• Saturday and Sunday - 7am to 3pm

Schedule Option 2:

• Saturday and Sunday - 3pm to 11pm

Pay Rate:

differentials available!

• $21.21/hour High School Diploma
• $22.27/hour with a Bachelor’s Degree
