Job summary

Wee Care Corporation in Glendale, AZ is seeking a compassionate Respite Provider to support individuals with special needs at home and in the community. You will follow each person’s service plan, protect dignity, and help maintain a safe, encouraging environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care when needed, supporting life-skill practice and positive routines, offering companionship, and accompanying members on community outings to promote independence.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification is required or obtained on hire.
• Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance is required or obtainable on hire.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
• Article 9 and Intro to Developmental Disabilities training or willingness to attend.
• Strong communication and documentation skills; safety-compliance.
• Flexible availability including evenings, nights, and weekends.
• Special needs experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centered support for individuals with special needs both at home and in the community.
• Follow the service plan, protect dignity, and maintain a safe environment.
• Assist with personal care when needed and support life-skill practice and routines.
• Offer companionship and encouragement to promote independence.
