Job summary

Trusted Health seeks an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Wisconsin, serving multiple inpatient units including ED and ICU. The RT will evaluate and treat patients, manage airways and ventilators, and provide pediatric airway support as needed.

You will float to ThedaCare Neenah/Appleton and may interview with unit managers. Requirements include RRT, ACLS, PALS, NRP, BLS, and an accredited Respiratory Therapy program graduate with AS completion.

Shift:

6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• Travel experience is required.
• 3 months of Epic experience is required with any experience within the last 12 months.
• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Special Requests:An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.Any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks of the absence.

Unit Details:RT covers multiple inpatient units, including COVID, Med-Surg, and ED.The role includes RT evaluation and treatment, adult airway and ventilator management, and basic pediatric airway and ventilation for the ED.

Shift & Scheduling:The schedule may flex to day shifts if the need is there.Every 3rd weekend.Holidays as needed.No call.Flexible contract hours: Weekly hours are not guaranteed during orientation week or when the unit is closed for holidays.

Floating Requirements:Will float to ThedaCare Neenah, which has more trauma cases than Appleton, and cross-train between ThedaCare Appleton and ThedaCare Neenah.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months
