Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a Kansas State Board of Healing Arts student permit and be enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Must obtain RQI, CPR or ACLS certifications as required by the department, or as a substitute for BLS.
• Within 90 days of hire, verify licensing requirements are met.

Responsibilities

• Administer oxygen and respiratory treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Record patient charges accurately.
• Evaluate patients' respiratory status and response to treatments.
• Maintain proficiency in basic cardiac life support.
