The Respiratory Supervisor is responsible for coordinating daily clinical operations, supporting staff performance, and ensuring safe and effective respiratory care delivery throughout the facility. This role provides leadership, oversight, and clinical guidance while maintaining a strong presence on patient care units.

Scope: The Respiratory Supervisor provides daily clinical and operational oversight for the respiratory therapy team, including managing staffing assignments and supporting schedule coordination. This role offers real-time coaching related to attendance, professionalism, and patient safety, escalating concerns to management as needed. While not responsible for hiring, terminations, or annual evaluations, the Supervisor serves as a frontline leader who supports staff performance, workflow consistency, and safe patient care.
