Encompass Health Corporation in Avondale, AZ is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Supervisor to lead our respiratory care team and oversee breathing treatments, patient assessments, and dosing of medications as part of a comprehensive care plan.

You will mentor staff, ensure high-quality evidence-based care, and contribute to patient recovery while maintaining regulatory compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Associate's degree or higher from an accredited respiratory therapy program
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
• Supervisor or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients requiring medical gas and breathing therapy.
• Supervise care and breathing treatments; lead patient assessments and create personalized care plans.
• Target and resolve patient concerns and support successful recovery.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients by understanding physical, mental, and emotional needs.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
