Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Central Florida – Sumter County in Wildwood, FL seeks a Respiratory Therapy Supervisor to lead respiratory care services and direct treatment plans for patients recovering from respiratory conditions.

You will supervise personnel, ensure compliance with licensing and safety standards, participate in patient assessments, and collaborate with a compassionate team to deliver high-quality rehabilitative care across the community.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Associate's degree or higher from an accredited respiratory therapy program
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
• Supervisor or management experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of medical gas, breathing therapy modality, and medication.
• Supervising care and breathing treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans.
• Targeting and resolving patient concerns and building meaningful relationships with patients.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
