Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field preferred.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certification required.
• NRP certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Five years clinical Respiratory Therapy experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of the Respiratory Therapy department and ensure policy and regulatory compliance.
• Lead staffing decisions including hiring, onboarding, and performance coaching.
• Manage budgeting and cost control for the department within approved allocations.
• Oversee scheduling and delivery of patient treatments to maintain smooth operations and quality service.
• Monitor respiratory services quality and safety and ensure equipment and supplies are available.
• Coordinate with leadership and physicians to optimize patient flow and care delivery.
• Lead quality improvement activities using PDCA/FOCUS methodologies.
• Serve as liaison between staff, physicians, and patients to maintain effective communication.
