Job summary

You will supervise daily operations, participate in hiring and budgeting, ensure EPIC proficiency, and drive performance improvements with a PDCA mindset. The role requires strong leadership, collaboration with physicians, and a focus on quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• Virginia license as Respiratory Care Practitioner in good standing.
• AHA BLS and ACLS required.
• NRP certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Five (5) years clinical Respiratory Therapy experience required.
• One to two (1-2) years leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Respiratory Therapy department activities.
• Participate in staff hiring, orientation, and performance management.
• Assist with department budgeting and cost-effective operations.
• Enforce departmental policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Oversee scheduling, treatments, and patient flow for smooth operations.
• Monitor Respiratory Services quality and safety.
• Lead staff meetings and coordinate with physicians and leaders.
• Maintain EPIC and other information systems proficiency.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives using PDCA.
