Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field preferred.
• 5 years experience in Respiratory Care required.
• Leadership/supervisory experience in a critical patient care setting preferred.
• PA Respiratory Care License required.
• RRT Certification preferred (Registered Respiratory Therapist).
• BLS required; ACLS likely required.

Responsibilities

• Provides management and leadership in the department.
• Oversees departmental operations and coordinates clinical activities.
• Participates in recruitment and hiring of staff, and schedules.
• Supervises, trains, develops and disciplines staff.
• Assists in development of protocols and performance improvement activities.
• Performs patient care as necessary.
