Job summary

Eastbrook Healthcare Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) in Cleveland, OH to deliver high-quality respiratory care in a fast-paced SNF setting. The role emphasizes collaboration with nurses, physicians, and the clinical team to optimize resident outcomes.

The RT will monitor respiratory status, manage oxygen therapy, and provide treatments, with an emphasis on compassionate, patient-centered care and thorough documentation in EMR/EHR systems.

Qualifications

• Active RT license or Respiratory Technician certification (state requirements apply).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments and breathing treatments to residents.
• Monitor oxygen therapy, pulse oximetry, and respiratory status.
• Assist with trach care, nebulizer treatments, CPAP/BiPAP management.
• Work closely with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR/EHR systems.
• Respond promptly to respiratory emergencies and changes in condition.
• Educate residents and families on respiratory care plans.
