AdventHealth Littleton, CO, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist Leader with 2+ years of leadership experience and 5+ years of respiratory care expertise. You will supervise the Respiratory Therapy department, plan staffing, and ensure delivery of high-quality patient care.

You will administer therapies, monitor ventilation, document in EMR, and partner with interdisciplinary teams to exceed clinical and safety standards. A strong leadership mindset and NBRC credentials are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree required in Respiratory Care or related field.
• NBRC credentials required; active RRT preferred.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills expected.
• Knowledge of hospital respiratory care, cardiology and sleep lab.

Job Description

• Assists in the quality assurance program within the department and the hospital.
• Administers therapeutic gases, such as oxygen, and prescribed medications via inhalation, including bronchodilators and humidified gases.
• Administers positive pressure breathing treatments, including IPPB, Ezpap, CPAP, and Bipap, and monitors continuous ventilatory support.
• Performs regular equipment maintenance, preparation, cleaning, sterilization, calibration, repair testing, and evaluation.
• Participates in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and performs airway care, including tracheobronchial aspiration.
• Conducts pulse oximetry testing and pulmonary function testing according to defined procedures.
• Provides patient counseling in all aspects of respiratory care.
• Performs bronchial drainage and chest physiotherapy as outlined in department procedures and policies.
• Documents hospital procedures in the EMR, including charting, medication tracking, billing for RT services, and daily workflow.
• Plans and organizes the activities of the Respiratory Therapy Department, including equipment evaluation, manpower requirements, and continuing education programs.
• Supervises Respiratory Therapy department personnel, including hiring, evaluating, training, and ensuring the efficiency of the technical staff.
• Supervises and participates in the flow of work, ensuring the quality and efficiency of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay Range

$104,603.20 - $194,542.40
