AristaCare Meadow Springs in Plymouth Township, PA, seeks an Assistant Director of Respiratory to assist the Director in overseeing daily operations of the Respiratory Therapy Department and deliver high-quality care to residents.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, ensuring CMS/OSHA compliance, developing care plans, supervising staff, and collaborating with physicians. On-call duties may be required; RRT with 5+ years experience and leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist with active state license.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• At least 1 year in respiratory therapy management or leadership.
• SNF/LTC experience preferred.
• On-call responsibilities may be required.
• Strong computer and EMR skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director of Respiratory Therapy in daily operations and staffing.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate staff.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, OSHA, and infection control standards.
• Develop and monitor respiratory care plans; oversee treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor EMR documentation for accuracy.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist in reducing hospital readmissions and improve outcomes.
• Assist in equipment maintenance and department needs.
