Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to lead the Respiratory Therapy department in a rehab-focused setting. The director will oversee clinical programs, documentation, budgeting, and census development while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
• Knowledge of respiratory disease and diseases that affect the respiratory system.
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate multidisciplinary care.
• Must possess and maintain a current license as required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains systems to enhance the facility's reputation for respiratory therapy.
• Monitors department financial performance and seeks ways to improve revenue and productivity.
• Contributes to census development and marketing in coordination with the facility.
• Provides ongoing staff development and ensures licensure and professional standards.
• Builds strong relationships with physicians, staff, providers and referral sources.
• Delivers patient treatments per current clinical protocols and documents progress.
• Writes accurate documentation meeting billing, regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Demonstrates safe working practices and maintains equipment.
