Job summary

UCHealth is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join the YVMC Respiratory team in Steamboat Springs, CO. This onsite role offers a flex shift with a pay range reflecting experience.

The successful candidate will hold an accredited Respiratory Therapy degree, NBRC-registered as an RRT, state licensure, and at least two years of experience. Certifications include BLS, with NRP/PALS within six months and ACLS within one year.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NBRC.
• State licensure to practice Respiratory Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and assesses response to ordered therapy per care plan.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition; updates policies as needed.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team; responds to codes and emergent requests.
• Educates patients and families about illness and community resources.
• Performs duties with critical thinking, decisive judgement, and ability to work without supervision.
