Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Respiratory Intern to gain clinical experience while enrolled in an accredited respiratory therapy program. You will perform basic respiratory procedures under direct supervision of licensed staff and contribute to a team-focused care environment.

Applicants must be currently enrolled in a respiratory therapy program, in good standing, with at least one clinical rotation completed, and within 15 months of completing a certified or registered program.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited respiratory therapy program, in good standing, completed at least one clinical rotation and, within 15 months of completing a certified, and or registered respiratory therapy program.

Responsibilities

• Assists with basic respiratory procedures under supervision and promotes teamwork among staff.
• Adheres to required standards of respiratory care and participates in patient care activities as directed.
