Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Four years’ experience as an RRT with at least two years in clinical respiratory care.
• Two years teaching experience in a CoARC-accredited respiratory care program or as clinical instructor/preceptor.
• Completion of CoARC Key Personnel Training Program within the first year of employment.
• Valid RRT credential and current Wisconsin license; proficiency with LMS.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate student learning using diverse instructional strategies across hybrid, in-person, virtual, and online course delivery.
• Assess student learning and provide regular feedback to improve persistence, retention, and course success.
• Develop and continuously revise competency-based curriculum aligned with employer expectations and documentation standards.
• Maintain attendance, grades, and a safe instructional environment; manage classroom logistics.
