Qualifications

• RRT credentials and VA license as required licenses.
• AS/AAS or higher in Respiratory Therapy degree required.
• Two years of recent clinical experience required.
• Must complete yearly competencies at clinical affiliate.

Responsibilities

• Orient students to the clinical setting and align assignments with course objectives.
• Reinforce CVCC Respiratory Therapy curriculum concepts.
• Assist students in acquiring knowledge, skills, and attitudes of respiratory therapists.
• Supervise patient care, assessment, and medication administration.
• Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Education on student issues.
• Complete a Daily Evaluation in Trajecsys and sign off on Clinical Competencies.
• Participate in mid- and end-semester clinical evaluations.
