Job summary

Reynolds Community College is seeking Respiratory Therapy clinical instructors to develop and strengthen students’ clinical skills and assess competency across diverse clinical settings.

The role supports 29 hours per week on a part-time schedule. Telework options are subject to change based on business needs. Applicants should have an AAS/AS in Respiratory Therapy, RRT credential, and Virginia licensure.

Qualifications

• AAS or AS in Respiratory Therapy, RRT credential, and Virginia license.
• Two years of recent clinical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills for documentation.
• Ability to work with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students.

Responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen students’ cognitive, psychomotor, and affective clinical skills.
• Evaluate student clinical competence in varied clinical settings.
• May perform administrative duties as required.
