Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Medical City Dallas is seeking a Clinical Coordinator Respiratory Therapy to lead respiratory care initiatives, education, and policy development. You will partner with leadership to ensure quality, regulatory compliance, and optimal patient outcomes across the department.

The role requires a Bachelor degree, NBRC credentials (RRT or RPFT), Texas license, and 3+ years of leadership in Respiratory Care, plus 5+ years as a Respiratory Therapist.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in Respiratory Care is required.
• Bachelor degree in a relevant field is required.
• NBRC credential (RRT or RPFT) is required at hire.
• Texas license as Respiratory Care Practitioner is required.
• BLS certification is required for patient care across all ages.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate respiratory care competencies and continuing education with leadership.
• Assist Director with policies/procedures for the department.
• Monitor quality data collection, reporting, and improvement activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (QRS, TJC, state/federal).
• Provide training to Respiratory Therapy, Nursing and Physicians as needed.
• Assist in staffing assignments and interdepartmental liaison.
