Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital (MMH) in Bradenton, FL, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a Respiratory Therapist to perform respiratory care under limited supervision across all age groups. You will ensure proper patient identification and adherence to MMH policies with a focus on confidentiality and service excellence.

Qualified applicants hold Florida licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT preferred), with BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications being highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Performs all aspects of Respiratory Care under limited supervision of a Critical Care Therapist or Respiratory Supervisor on patients of all ages with a high degree of skill, quality and accuracy. Also assures that all Respiratory Care procedures are provided to properly identified patients according to MMH policy and procedure and maintains confidentiality and HIPAA regulations with all patients. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and advanced customer Service Excellence skills.

Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
