Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for PRN night shifts. The role covers critical care, emergency, med/surg, and nursery settings as part of a high-functioning team providing intubations and education.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an AMA approved 2 or 4 year Respiratory Care program and NBRC registered.
• Licensed by the State of Florida as a Respiratory Therapist in good standing (RRT/CRT).

Job Overview

Performs all aspects of respiratory care for patients of all ages in critical care, emergency room, med/surg, and nursery.Member of high functioning team performing intubations and education.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an AMA approved 2 or 4 year Respiratory Care program or equivalent, and registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and licensed by the State of Florida as a Respiratory Therapist in good standing.
• May also be a Certified Respiratory Therapist, credentialed by the NBRC and licensed by the State of Florida.
• Experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care setting with nursery experience, preferred
• BLS required.
• ACLS required.
• Must obtain PALS and NRP certification within 90 days of date of hire.
• Must complete annual departmental competency training.
• Valid Florida RRT or CRT license.
