Job summary

Appalachian Regional Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care services under licensed supervision. The role includes administering oxygen, inhalation therapies, PFTs, and ventilator management with appropriate oversight.

You will document patient progress and participate in safety protocols and CPR actions as needed. The candidate should have a strong clinical foundation in respiratory care, be licensed in Kentucky, and able to work as part of a care team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree in respiratory care required.
• Kentucky license required for respiratory care practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based respiratory therapies per orders.
• Set up and monitor oxygen delivery and cylinders safely.
• Perform PFTs and assist in CPAP/BIPAP setups.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Participate in CPR and code team activities.
• Calibrate ABG and co-oximeter analyzers; perform quality controls.
