Job summary

Candidates should have completed an accredited respiratory therapy program, 1–2 years of related experience, and hold Ohio licensure with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved respiratory therapy program
• 1–2 years in respiratory care
• Knowledge of cardiopulmonary physiology and relevant pharmacology
• BLS certification required
• Licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in Ohio

Responsibilities

• Ventilator management for neonates to adults
• Perform diagnostic modalities and ABG procurement/analysis
• Document care and update patient lists; submit charges
• May perform airway management and oxygen titration
• Support Respiratory Therapy student education and training
