Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Current NYS license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist and NBRC certification required.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures accurate and complete Physician prescription.
• Provides prescribed respiratory therapy and education to patient/family.
• Maintains and tests respiratory care equipment including ventilators and oxygen devices.
• Documents patient outcomes and activities per policy and procedure.
• Remedies equipment issues and reports major problems to management.
