Job summary

Kindred Hospital New Jersey - Rahway is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to administer respiratory care, monitor ventilation, assess patients, and assist with procedures. You will document care, manage oxygen and ventilator delivery, and provide education to patients and families in a busy hospital setting.

Qualified candidates hold NBRC credentialing with current state license, BLS/ACLS, and prefer 1 year of experience in respiratory care within acute care.

Qualifications

• Respiratory Therapy education required for NBRC credentialing.
• Current Respiratory Therapy license in the appropriate state.
• CRT/RRT credential or RCP certification per NBRC CMP.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer safe and competent respiratory care as ordered by physician.
• Monitor mechanical ventilation and ABG results.
• Document all procedures and maintain patient care plans.
• Initiate and manage oxygen/ventilator support and airway care.
• Provide patient and family teaching and handoff reports.
