Job summary

Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to safely administer prescribed respiratory therapies using a variety of equipment and techniques.

You will provide care that meets the needs of patients from newborns to the elderly, adapting treatments for language, cultural, or other individual factors. Requirements include completion of a CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program; AS or BA/BS preferred; MA Respiratory license; CRT/RRT preferred; BLS; NRP.

Qualifications

• CoARC approved respiratory care program completed.
• Excellent work skills.
• Knowledge for airway management, ventilation, bronchial hygiene and oxygen therapy.
• Care aligned with Respiratory Care policies, customized to patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory care using prescribed methods and equipment.
• Assess and tailor treatments for age groups from newborn to elderly.
• Follow Respiratory Care policies and adapt care to individual needs and language/cultural considerations.
