Formación

• Associate’s degree or related field required.
• Florida DOH Registered Respiratory Therapist license required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform advanced respiratory therapy treatments and procedures, including mechanical ventilation and critical care management.
• Assess patients' respiratory status and develop comprehensive care plans.
• Monitor and evaluate patients' responses to therapy and make necessary adjustments.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory care and management of respiratory conditions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care.
• Ensure all respiratory therapy equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory standards.
