Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide patient-focused respiratory care in a Massachusetts clinical setting. You will work with a care team to implement physician-ordered plans for patients of all ages, monitor therapy, and document responses.

The role requires graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program, state licensure with RRT/CRT credentials, and BLS certification, with hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Hospital respiratory care experience preferred.
• RRT or CRT credential and state licensure required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and implement respiratory care plans per physician orders.
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications and airway clearance treatments.
• Initiate, manage and wean mechanical ventilation and non-invasive support.
• Perform arterial blood gas sampling and diagnostic testing as ordered.
• Respond to Code Blue and rapid response events and assist with airway management.
• Document therapy and patient response accurately and maintain equipment.
