Davita Inc. is looking for a Respiratory Therapist Specialist to provide family-centered care within a dynamic team at their Aurora location. The role involves delivering respiratory therapy, teaching self-care to patients, and supporting families in achieving optimal health outcomes. Candidates should possess a minimum of three years of experience in respiratory care and relevant certifications. This position offers flexible scheduling options and relocation assistance for qualified applicants.
The Respiratory Therapist (RT) Specialist provides family-centered care as demonstrated byrecognizing the patient, family and/or designee as a full partner in providing compassionate and coordinated care based on respect for patient's preferences, values, and needs. The RT Specialist assumes an active role in clinical education of patients, families and staff; and functions as a role model within respiratory and inter-professional teams, fostering open communication, mutual respect, teamwork, and shared decision-making to achieve quality patient care.
This position is eligible for relocation assistance, if relocating from 100 miles or greater.
Pay Range: $34.77 - $52.16/hr.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION: Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy/ Care is required at the time of hire. Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy/Care preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of three (3) years of experience delivering respiratory therapy/care, including a minimum of one (1) year of pediatric experience, is required at the time of hire.
CERTIFICATION(S):
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT) or Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT) credential required within one (1) year of hire in the outpatient pulmonary function lab setting.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association required.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 90 days of hire.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required within 90 days of hire.
Neonatal/Pediatric Respiratory Care Specialist (RRT-NPS) preferred by the NBRC.
LICENSURE(S): State of Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) Respiratory Therapist license
