Job summary

Ballardhrc is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) to join our care team in Seattle. You will evaluate and treat residents with breathing disorders, set up respiratory equipment, and monitor responses under physician guidance.

We value reliability, calm under pressure, and teamwork. A current state license and CPR/BLS certification are required, with 2–4 years of direct respiratory therapy experience preferred. Experience with PCC is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of direct Respiratory Therapy experience.
• Current Respiratory License in the state.
• Current and valid CPR/BLS certification.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, and guidelines for long‑term care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat and care for residents with breathing disorders under physician direction.
• Set up and operate respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and treatment.
• Monitor residents’ physiological responses to therapy.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care.
