Responsibilities

As a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT), you will evaluate, treat, and care for residents with breathing disorders. Under the direction of a physician, you will set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment to diagnose and treat respiratory diseases, while monitoring each resident’s physiological responses to therapy.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience providing direct Respiratory Therapy.
• Current Respiratory License in the state.
• Ability to work under stress and in emergency situations.
• Current and valid CPR/BLS certification.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long‑term care.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with multiple residents.
• Experience in an acute care respiratory unit or Skilled Nursing environment.
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC).
