Responsibilities

As a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT), you evaluate, treat, and care for residents with breathing disorders, set up and operate respiratory care equipment under physician direction, and monitor residents’ physiological responses to therapy.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of direct Respiratory Therapy experience.
• Current respiratory license in the state.
• Ability to work under stress and in emergency situations.
• Current and valid CPR/BLS certification.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long‑term care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with multiple residents.
• Experience in an acute care respiratory unit or skilled nursing environment.
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC).
