Requirements: AMA approved school, NBRC registration, BLS; ACLS preferred. This full-time position offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Respiratory Care.
• Licensed by the State Board of Medicine or State Board of Osteopathic Medicine.
• Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support/BLS.
• NBRC registration within 2 years of hire.

Responsabilités

• Administers respiratory therapy per physician orders including oxygen, medications, PFTs, ABGs, and ventilation support.
• Evaluates patients and determines care based on department protocols to improve outcomes.
• Monitors patients on mechanical ventilation and participates in rounds and weaning as needed.
• Collects sputum, blood, and breath samples for analysis and diagnosis.
• Communicates results and treatment suggestions to the health care team.
• Ensures quality and regulatory compliance in the PFT/ABG lab and related tasks.
• Documents patient care activities and progress in the chart.
• Collaborates with physicians and nurses to coordinate care and discharge planning.
