Job summary

Broad River Rehab is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) to join our skilled nursing facility in the Memphis, TN area on a PRN basis. You will perform prescribed breathing treatments, document in MAR and EMRs, and assess treatment effectiveness while ensuring resident safety.

Responsibilities include educating nursing staff and other therapists on respiratory signs and symptoms. TN RT certification with CRT/RRT credentials required; available for 5–8 hour shifts.

Qualifications

• TN Respiratory Therapist certification (RT) is required.
• CRT or RRT credential is required.
• PRN availability for 5–8 hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform breathing treatments on residents as prescribed and document before/after treatments.
• Document in the MAR and EMRs at the facility.
• Assess residents' responses to treatments and make recommendations on continuation or modification.
• Educate nursing staff, PT, OT, and SLPs on signs of respiratory issues.

Job Description

• Perform breathing treatments on residents that have been prescribed, provide appropriate documentation before and after breathing treatments.
• Document in the MAR and EMRs at the facility.
• Assess residents breathing treatments and make recommendations regarding continuation, altering, or discontinuing of breathing treatments.
• Educate nursing staff, PT, OT, and SLPs on signs and symptoms of respiratory issues that could arise in residents.
