Job summary

Broad River Rehab is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) to join our Memphis-area skilled nursing facility on a PRN basis. The role involves performing prescribed breathing treatments and documenting results in the MAR/EMR, with guidance to staff as needed.

Responsibilities include evaluating treatment effectiveness, adjusting plans as required, and educating nursing staff and other therapists on respiratory signs and symptoms to monitor in residents.

Qualifications

• TN Respiratory Therapist certification (CRT or RRT) is required.
• PRN availability for 5-8 hour shifts.
• Duties include documenting breathing treatments and respiratory care in MAR/EMR.
• Educate nursing staff and other therapy colleagues on respiratory issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform breathing treatments as prescribed and document before/after treatments.
• Document in MAR and EMRs at the facility.
• Assess treatment effectiveness and advise continuation or modification.
• Educate nursing staff, PT, OT, and SLP on signs of respiratory issues.
